Pretty people disappointing us. What a tragedy.

David continues to frustrate us by wearing very expensive, well-made suits that don’t fit him well at all. But that’s probably not fair to him. His jackets are always too long and his pants are always too tight. Since these issues are so consistent across the board, it seems likely that he has a short torso and thick legs, both of which make it hard for him to find a suit that fits without having it made specifically for him. At least he chooses well. But he can sometimes look terribly sloppy for it. This one isn’t too bad on that front, but the sloping shoulders and too-long-sleeves sure are distracting, as is that tie, which is giving us eyelid twitches. If we could give him any advice at all (other than “Have your suits made,” that is) it would be to stop choosing icy grays and shiny fabrics. A darker suit with a matte finish would help hide some of the fit problems he has, as would some patterned shirts and ties. Also: as much as we love a vest, he’d be better off streamlining his look a little by ditching it.

As for her, well the dress is stunning and looks fantastic. But MAN, that is some cakey makeup. And we’re pretty sure that lip color clashes with the dress. It’s a surprise to see her like this because usually she’s so fresh-faced and dewy. Here, she looks like she has the flu or something and her makeup artist applied a suit of armor to get her through the night.
